Geena Davis
Geena Davis is known as an American actor, producer, writer and women's rights activist. In addition to her many roles in Hollywood as well, she's received the acclaim of critics for her role in televisions serials of various genres. Before her film debut she worked as a fashion model as well as a part of semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery in Olympics. Music was her passion since the age of three led her to study music on flute and piano. She used to play organ in the Church located in Wareham. Her professional career started when she was in New York City when she was a graduate of Boston University's Drama program. Following a long and difficult struggle in the beginning, she was eventually working odd jobs, and working on other things before finally getting her break. Modeling was her profession throughout her career before making her debut in film, 'Tootsie. It was released in the year 1982. Then, her acting career was extremely successful and she was awarded an Oscar Award. Also, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award' for her role in a television drama series. There are two sons as well as one daughter from her marriage with Reza Jarrahy. She also works for a number of public causes.
