Samantha Mohr
Participating in her first pageant on the suggestion of an acquaintance of UGA pupil, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. She was then eligible take part in the Miss Georgia pageant, which was held in June of 1985. Mohr was the winner of Saturday's competition, June 22 1985. Mohr earned over $3500 in scholarship money and other prizes at the state pageant. The Miss Georgia was a part of her. Georgia as well as made public appearances throughout Georgia in the course of her duties. Mohr is Georgia's official representative. attended Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985. Computer-generated models successfully forecasted the likelihood that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were set at 22 to one. Mohr didn't make the Top-10 list for the title of Miss America. Mohr's time as Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986.
